Hi,
I am thinking of buying a house in Clondalkin and have seen some houses for sale in saint johns park, and cherrywood. Can anybody give me any information about saint johns park. Is the area quiet, are there any problems?
Viewed two houses look nice. Sisters friend lives in Johns Wood which is also nice.

Yea,
Saint Johns is a nice place to buy a property. Very mature area with amenities at your hand although the Luas is a distance away. Shops, library and a host of other amenities are also at hand. Bus service I am told is also good. Brother and his girl friend bought a house in Saint Johns Wood two year ago and seem to be very contented although they nearly purchased one of two house available at that time in Saint Johns Park West (other side of main road) but discovered sever problems associated with antisocial behaviour (websites) by youths living on this particular road. They sought some local advice and then changed their minds.
Other good locations:
Saint Brigit's Road
Monastery Road
Monastery Gate
Cappamore
Dutch Village
Floraville
hope this helps
